About
I spent over a decade in corporate roles across pricing strategy, financial analysis, and risk management before deciding I wanted to own something. I acquired two companies: Metal Warehouse, a sheet metal fabrication and distribution operation, and Lankford Roofing & Construction, a roofing contractor with decades of history. Now I run both as CEO. That means managing crews, developing pricing and bidding strategy, handling cash flow, and figuring out how to grow businesses that were already running before I got there. The hardest part wasn't buying them. It was earning the trust of teams that had been doing this long before I showed up and building a culture aligned with where the businesses are going, not just where they've been. Beyond operations, I stay close to the capital and investment side of business ownership, which I think makes me a sharper operator. If you're thinking about buying a trades or manufacturing business, or you just bought one and you're navigating operations, team management, or growth without breaking what already works, I've been in that spot.
