Started as a solo electrician in 2015. Built J.O. Electric to 14 employees and $5M in revenue by 2022. The hard part wasn't the electrical work — it was everything else: insurance, bonding, hiring, bidding, collecting, HR, and figuring out which jobs to actually take. I've been through the licensing maze, survived a workers comp audit, and scaled past the solo operator plateau. If you're in trades, I get it.
